- The architecture of the main building is such a classic one
- It was calm and clean before the elevator work started. The work is going to end so it becomes calm and clean again
- The campus is active all the time, you can see people in campus yard and class room at a time
Dislikes
- The college is supposed to modernised . (. The problem with that is it's a heritage building. No extra works are allowed)
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is interesting for me as I like the core area the course concentrates on. As it's a theory paper its practical application is questionable, even though you can have your own answer regarding the things around you.
Fees and Financial Aid
Technically, the college is under Kerala University and also the government so as long as you applied for the Grantz scholarship you don't have to worry about any fee during the course. Also, you can apply for a wide variety of scholarships from different amount ranges.
Campus Life
While answering this i have to let you know that I am not a very social person, though I can assure you there are lots of activities there. Every festival including Onam, Holi, Christmas and etc. are celebrated in campus. Not only festivals, the welcome programs for freshers are held every year with lots of other kinds of stuff. The library is not that big or modern or anything, most of the books are old and I think people rarely go to the bookshelves. Anyway, the reading table is always Clean and filled with people with newspapers and notes, projects and sometimes novels. The class room is such a normal one but the department libraries are modern most of the time teachers call us to join in the department libraries for lectures. Though I am not active in sports either, I observe the things that are avarage and the college handball team brings the trophy frequently. I am rating the campus life five considering the avarage because I am not a social one.
Admission
Eligibility: applicants must have passed the 12th grade or equivalent exam from a recognized board Admission to the course is merit-based The minimum eligibility requirement for all Kerala University UG admission is, candidates must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant stream. The maximum age limit for admission to the UG programs shall be as follows as on 1st June of the academic year: For General / SEBC candidates - 23 years and For SC/ST candidates - 25 years. Application: Through Kerala University website Reservation: The seats for SC/ST candidates are reserved. ST candidates are eligible for reservation benefits regardless of their religion. Exam: The exam is conducted by Kerala University, which usually comes in 4-5 months, the exam is not too tough
