Course Curriculum Overview
MA Economics included econometrics, growth and development, indian economic development and many other branches of ecoomics which will help to understand real world situations and analyse in a more practical way.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission into the college based on merit (marks of graduation). The fee for the programme was approximately 10000 rupees for two years. The class had only 15 students. The teachers are so friendly and kind. They will help you for all your academic and non academic activities.
Campus Life
College had annual arts and sports meets and festivals which helped in understanding the true potential of students other than academic activities. There are many books and internationals journals to be read in the college library and also in the department library. The activities of National Service Scheme and National Cadet Corps are also commendable.
Admission
Compared to other colleges, Govt Arts College had a peaceful atmosphere with friendly and approachable faculties. The college library was also good. I also applied for some other colleges in Kerala. But Arts college provided some benefits like experienced faculties.
Faculty
The teachers are so friendly and supportive for academic activities as well as non-academic activities. Teachers are approachable for any purposes. There were seminars and projects to be done before each semester exams which provide insights about the discipline
Night Life
There is university hostel for boys and girls near the college within 2 kilometers. There are also many paying guests facilities available near the college. There are also hangout places and nightlife places near the college like Kanakakkunu palace, Manaveeyam Veedhi, etc.
