Entrance Preview
My college was the one of the Top ranking college in Trivandrum. There was no Entrance Exam, admission were given based on the marks earned in previous public exams (eg: plus two marks for graduation).
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the government is providing Stipend for backward caste and for below poverty line students on time. That is general stipend. These is a great relief for poor students.
Placement Experience
As out college has only Arts and commerce subjects there were no placement fairs or campus Recruitment in our college. There were job fairs and others outside our college usually conducted by other companies and multinational organisations. This was one of main problems faced by Arts & Commerce graduation students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was very low at that time the average fee for one year was only around rs.7000 including Parent teacher association donation, building maintenance , Caution Deposit and admission fee. As the college is a government concern the monthly fee was below rs.100/- Exam fees were around Rs 300.
Fees and Financial Aid
Educational loans are provided from all nationalised banks for the needed students and the college has provided all the help to release the loans . I had not availed any loans in this regard.
Campus Life
Campus Life as very ambient with lots of fun, friendship, Love and evergreen Memories. Our favourite sports in college was Cricket and basketball. In some days there were strike in the college by the SFI. The gender ratio in our class was 30 boys and 20 girls . Usually the ratio of girls is low in our college.
Exam Structure
Ours was not a semester structure exam, all final exams were conducted yearly basis. All the students have the opportunity to take improvement exam if they are not satisfied with the mark that they got in yearly exams. All labs like Computer lab were equipped with all needed accessories and students have good opportunity to use them as they needed.
Admission
There were three Rounds of allotment, Admission proceeding was based on total marks obtained in English, Accountancy and Economics, I got admission in second round.
Faculty
About 80℅ of faculty were good conduct and dedicated to their job. Many of them were friendly and makes our classes live with sharing jokes with us. They teached us very sincerely especially account and business management faculties. Some classes like Auditing we're boring.
