Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is pretty much good and easy to understand. It is based on New education policy. In first year we have been taught all the subjects including eng workshop to gain some practical knowledge and approach

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is about 40 thousandsper semester and 20000(mess + hostel ) fees . Students can avail the benefits of scholarship such as Uttrakhand Scholarship as well as other private scholarships that are there

Campus Life

It's overall a decent experience for a engineering college.Campus life is ok ok but campus is full of greenery ,students from all around the states as well as other states are there so the Atmosphere is very diverse and good.

Admission

Admission is based on JEE mains rank. It is through online counseling which is done by Govind Ballabh Pant University Of Agriculture And Technology seperately from jossa .Cutoff rank for cs branch is about 50000

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.
