Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good but there are 2 or 3 subjects which I don't find any use. Like in 3rd sem, you will study two subjects of electrical which are of no use to a CS or IT student. But apart from it, the curriculum is good. It focus not only on engineering perspective, but also on human values, management, economics, technical writing etc.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies are Zomato Cvent Amazon Turing minds ZS campus Byjus etc Avg package is 7.5 LPA You can apply for internship at any semester. If you got selected in any internship, you need to inform that in T&P Cell. This will maintain your attendance also. The cell will provide you NOC if your company need that.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is descent. I will not say it's good but yaa there are several opportunities you wil get from T&P cell of BPIT. If you have knowledge and skills, you can apply on that. T&P cell regularly conducts sessions and webinar both online and offline regarding placement activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Different colleges have different fee structure. Talking about BPIT, the course fee is around ?1,18,800. If you want to add mess also, you can Talking about scholarship, IPU provides financial assistance every year to EWS students and also merit based scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Annual fest of BPIT is Malhaar. Library is opened fron 9am to 5pm. You can access any book if you have ID card. IPU also conducts Sports activity every year in which teams from different colleges participate. Annual fest of IPU is Anugoonj

Admission

Steps involved in Admission process - 1. You must have given JEE mains 2. IPU conducts it's separate counselling, you need to apply in that. 3. There are around 7 rounds and 2 spot rounds at the end. You need to fill choices and courses of your choices. 4. Consider top colleges like USICT, BPIT, MAIT and MSIT. The fee of MAIT and MSIT is quite high as compared to BPIT, so choose accordingly. 5. After filling all the choices, you will be alloted seat based on your rank. You can easily get CS/IT in top colleges if you have rank round 60k or 70k. You can also get ECE if you have rank around 90k but for that you need to wait till 6th ot 7th round. It seen that students even get ECE in spot rounds also. 6. After you get a set download your provisional addmission letter and report in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
