Likes

I like the college campus the most as it was filled with my friends
Our Watchmen and the gatekeeper was also very friendly
The classrooms and their Ambience the zoology department and their Laboratories

Dislikes

The classrooms of other departments were not renovated and even fans didn't work
The Nescafe or our small canteen good also use and upgradation
The non working staff can also be more friendly

chose this course because of its focus on practical skills development and its alignment with my career goals. The curriculum effectively integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications Incorporating more interdisciplinary perspectives and offering flexibility in elective courses could enrich the curriculum The frequency and timing of exams seem reasonable, although adjusting the difficulty level to better match the pace of learning

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 11500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fees was quite affordable as it was very low around 11500 per annum for 3 years there was the scheme of scholarships but only for students whose annual income of their household was under Rs 1 lakh it was not that much quite around 2000 rupees per year. no campus employment.

Campus Life

The campus life was very good as we enjoyed being in the groups and the main social groups were tea clubs NSS NCC and sports clubs. The teachers were quite supportive we enjoyed being in the college campus as it had very good environment it was all Lucent Green Field with huge trees and Shadow giving trees also.

Admission

eligibility was on the 12th basis the application form , fees and application dates was given on the site of the college in my case there is no reservation invail no exam was held selection was based on 12th percentage the staff could be more respectful

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

I want to do pursue the BSc in zoology because I liked the like that however is the additional additional subjects that are given with the zoology under the new education policy are not good at all I struggle for the most part of my education like with my Hindi subject I didn't want to learn Hindi but I had to because it was an obligatory subject to pursue. GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.
