Likes

Teachers in my college is very friendly and very supportive.
Environment of my college is very good the climate is also good.
We can see students for every district it is very good.

Dislikes

Programs are comparatively less in my college
Party like SFI is ruling that college is very bad
They are not providing placement for EEE and ECE

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the syllabus is only focusing on old things they are teaching the things that long time ago used. I completed Btech in Electrical and electronics engineering, the placement for electrical is very less and they are not providing any internship also. Exam timing of KTU is very accurate. Teachers in my college was good. Placement was less for EEE and ECE

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For merit students the fee structure is 35000/year. But they will collect total 40k(5000 for PTA fund). There are many scholarships like MCM, KTU scholarships and Egrands. For 2 years i got MCM scholarships amount of 25000/ year and one year i got ktu scholarships of 15000. Last year i given application for MCM but i didn't get it. Egrands is a good scholarship but is more beneficial for SC/ST students

Campus Life

I think college of engineering Vadakara is a good college for education and programms. Every year they will conduct program QL. It will technical fest or art fest it is a main program in my college. And very festival day they are conducting programs. Environment of my college is very good because the college is situated on a mountain the climate is very good in winter. Classroom are good and everything is there like labs and every technical things. Campus life is too good. Teachers are very friendly.

Admission

There is a exam called KEAM after +2. I completed that exam and got rank 19k. That rank is enough for this college merit seat. I applied many government colleges but with this rank it is impossible to enter. My college is autonomous college so within this rank we can enter easily.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year
