The curriculum of this course Computer Science and Business System influenced me because it give the opportunity to explore the world of computer science as well as enhances my presentation skills and business skills which is neccessary in every companies. Our course also give us the way or approach of solving real-world problems and finding more effective solutions which can benefit the people across the globe. Having Business knowledge or mindset isn't enough we have to enhance our execution skills as well but our course still runs on the old bookish way of learning so it can be solved by making it practical oriented or problem-solving centric way of learning. The exams are schedule according to the exam schedule of MAKAUT.

From 4th year onwards students are eligible for sitting in campus placements. Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Bassetti, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Techno-Exponent, Amazon The highest package of our college is ?14 lakhs and the average packages out our college is ? 4 lakhs. 80 % students get placed in year 2022, 100% students get placed in the year 2023 and 79% students get placed till now in 2024 and the campusing is still going on and companies are visiting. I want to start my own startup company after graduation.

Tuition Fees of 4 years our course is-? 3.9 lakhs, with library fees-? 1000 included in the mention amount of ? 3.9 lakhs. The scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship(SVMCM) and Oasis Scholarship is available and it enhance students who have not enough well economic background to come here and pursue there engineering education. The amount given for every year in SVMCM is ? 60000. Our college also give us the option to form student credit card in which students can create there credit cards and can get a loan of upto ? 10 lakhs, and they have to repay the loan with a very minimal interest rate of 3-4 % .

The name of out annual festival is G-Storm , and our technical festival is GEMISHA and the technical fest used to occur in the month of March just after the end of the semester exams. The annual fest occurs only few days after the technical fest usually at the starting of April. Our classroom have smart boards with projectors with high quality pictorical overviews and excellent 3-D mode of teaching by our teachers. Our campus have a ground in which we use to play football and cricket. WE have our sport club which organize competitions and intra/inter college competitions.

Eligibity- Candidate Have to pass Higher Secondary Education and should have a decent rank in state and national entrance exams like- JEE(Mains), WBJEE. Application- Application Form, Fees, and dates are all given in the college website of GMIT. Reservation Benefits- Our college also have seat reservation benefits as well but it is available only for limited amount of time. The seat reservation starts just after the completion of the entrance exams. Exam Schedule and Timing- Our college exams depend upon the exam routine and criteria of West Bengal University of Technology(MAKAUT). The examination schedules are planned and executed according to the time range of the university. Areas of Improvement- Although our college is great with lot of facilities and opportunities, but still there are some area which can be developed more like-enhancement of laboratories, enhancement of building infrastructures, creating cultural and coding clubs.
