Course Curriculum Overview

It was good focus on practical learning what is age research initiative taken by the institute where very less, and there were no elective options in BCA course

Internships Opportunities

The college didn't provide an internship did not did not give any average stipend amount as the facilities for doing internship when not much

Placement Experience

Placements in annual is very low, 10 percentage of student got placed , the major companies that visited the campus were Wipro, ICICI Bank ,And packages where 3.5 lakh average

College Events

There were cultural events organised by the college in the month of January to February which included all the games cultural programs and competitions etc. programs were not that big as the college cannot afford big amount of money to spend on these programs the college authorities contributed as well. but students participated and enjoy it fully

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was quite high, around 13000 each semester, it was quite difficult to pay for a student. it was not always affordable by some students as they were not able to pay it easily

College provided some amount of scholarship to some reserved category students and some Tapers of the department.

I was residing in hostel sharing one room with 4 persons there were no single rooms for us for a single person at least two persons and in a room. I paid 8500 for a year excluding mess charges which cost around 14 to 1500 each month

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes college provide create a proper platform for student alumni introduction, I have no idea about whether alumni contributed in the overall development of the college or not

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students should be in final semester or should be graduated.. Automobile companies visit for the placement and it is limited. The package they offer is like 5-6 LPA . 5% of the total students are getting the placements. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams after getting the degree .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to learn coding and pursue my dream as a web development. Our department prepare us well for real-world applications by making us doing project and assignments that are related to real world applications for our further future. We are learning how to do static and dynamic projects. They should change some of their teaching method as for labs (partical) and give more explanation on that as some teachers are not that good in explaining a practical part . Theory exams are easy but practical parts is a little difficult sometimes due to the lack of understanding the subject but some are easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in taking computer Application, the university have also provide with many opportunity to enhance our knowing which also made me to dive deep inside the realm of computer world. The curriculum provided are very helpful for me and i believe I will be able to solve anything in my coming future. The teacher are well educated and friendly we could understand what ever they taught us, they also make us understand what they taught us in any possible way. There is nothing to improve about the faculty but the university can improve the class room by providing new chairs and upgrade a little. The timing for exam and class doesn't effect my routine it is well set according and exam timing different fir each department which is very efficient and not crowded. They provide about two faculty in each exam hall during exam.

All you have to know about Handique Girls' college

I applied to cotton University and also DU.. I didn get in cotton ...but i got in DU with sociology..since i wanted to go for psychology, I didnt go to DU. I didn't make it to Cotton because of cut off marks. Getting into psychology is really tough especially in this generation where people are more aware about mental health. The cut off was really high 96 % in cotton and Idk about DU it varies from clg to clg. The admission process in Handique girls' college is okayish. Runs smoothly. You just need to have necessary documents and also can ask the staff for any queries or doubts. For Handique the cut off is average. If you score above 90% you'll definitely get admission in psychology. Bu then again the cut off varies every year. This year political science cut off was very high in every college. So even with 80% getting into Pol sc in Handique was not possible....Read More
