Take it or leave it review by a student of IIIT Ranchi

the course taught here is like any other government college, pretty outdated and irrelevant, in comparison the private colleges have better curriculum based on latest trends and industry requirements, but here we have to study everything on our own for the placements.

placements start from 7th semester the number of offers are not that well like double but like 130 per 100 students, which i think is quite good for a newer college. the percentage of students placed who applied is around 80 percent after which some opt for GATE or MBA , etc .

the fee structure is simple 115500 per sem for academic and 15k for hostel and 18k for mess per sem. Nearly all government scholarships are available as students are availing various scholarships and government schemes like bihar credit card , mp mmvy , etc.

as this college has opened just a few years ago the campus is not built and only land is available so in furst year we live in the campus of JUT college in 50 50 partnership but now the college is shifted to BSNL training centre for classes and in khelgao for residential purpose.there is no such thing as campus life as we gotta live in society with other residents so we have to follow the rules .

the part which shines for this college as i have already mentioned that we live in society so the building are built very good with so much space per room which is better than any other private colleges which are cluttered with 3 or 4 students per room here we have 2 students per room and every room has some balcony area be it small or big.

Tthe admission was through the Jossa counselling which is done after the Jee exam and I think it's pretty good. the cutoff for the ECE branch in 2022 in CSAB round 2 was approximately 61k approx. the offline document verification process was also good and smooth.
