The course is interesting and full of practical experience. The exmas are done regularly within 3 months. It needs internal motivation and hard work continuously for making it happen. The patient exposure is well to practice and learn medical science in college.

Internships Opportunities

The internship program is for 1 year with duties in various departments to learn skills and practice in each type of department. The stipend for internship is approximately 10000 per month. The internship provides exposure of learning and practice.

Fees and Financial Aid

The pims has 2 types of seats 75 seats are semi government and 75 seats are management . The semi government seats fees is 3.5-5 lakh per anum. The management seats fees is 9-10 lakh per anum. With some extra charges per year of rs. 40000

Campus Life

The campus life is awesome with full enjoyment and hardwork for study . The study pressure is mainly during exam time but otherwise it is mixed with time to get enjoyment. Also there is annual fest called ecstasy every year which is entertaining and refreshing.

Admission

Enterance exam is through Neet-Ug exam, it is mcq type exam, eligibility is 60% in +2, and cut off varies from state to state. The neet ug score needs 530-570 marks for admission in pims college jalandhar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor.
