Course Curriculum Overview
Curiculum includes theoretical and practical phases of medical life as in any other medical college Proper theory classes are taken from morning to afternoon and then duties in opd and wards till 4 pm
Internships Opportunities
Internship needs to be done in college itself so it is not really a choice but the patient load as is known for pims to be less is not that low but okay Opds work from 9 to 4:30 and are good but exposure as compared to other colleges is less
Fees and Financial Aid
I have a govt seat and fees for the first year was 3.8 lakhs which increases by 10% every year Also i joined in 2021 so fees has definitely increased now Tution fees amounting near 36000 is also taken separately No specific scholarships
Campus Life
We have an annual fest called ecstasy which is actually not bad but college management really does no part in monetary and other help with it Other activities like teachers day and other small festivities are celebrated but no too a great level
Hostel Facilities
In hostels i stayed for the first year and it was pkayish experience such as food which was the major con and it is really bad so don't recommend Also the rooms are okay and in sharing and washrooms are not personal but common with 4 washrooms on each floor
Admission
Based on my marks for govt college i had pims and gian sagar as an option and out of these two i obv picked pims as it had better infrastructure location and also clinics are more functional as compared to what i saw in gian sagar
Faculty
Faculty is not less in number so no issues at that and they are quite approachable The college follows nmc orders and has schedule based on them Teachers along with opd also give proper attention to our classes although practical aspect is a bit less
