Remarks

I am sure all the improvements in regards to infrastructure and other areas like cafeteria and management has already happened by now no bad highlight.

Entrance Preview

GGSIPU entrance examination my rank was 2288 (still remember it) got through in second counselling and chose Electrical and Electronics other options that were available for me were Environmental Engineering and Mechanical i was not interested in studying the other two it was a new college and and we were the second batch to pass out so that was one of the main reasons to choose this college as new colleges are under pressure to provide better training to students. I am glad I made this chose this college as it has good faculty and infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship from National Thermal Power corporation badarpur and there was no stipend it was a good learning experience as we saw how motors and other electrical devices work.

Placement Experience

Placements in 2008 were rock bottom due to recession but still 60 percent of our college students got placed easily some of the top hiring companies were TCS, Infosys, Larsen and Tuobro, Birlasoft, Hexaware.

College Events

I remember we had technical fest and cultural fest both and there were students from other colleges as well who participated it wasnt big at that time because the college was new but now they are huge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The topper used to get free education for subsequent year and that was the only scholarship that our college offered i was an average student so did not get any scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good, we used to have sports competetions as well, particularly cricket tournaments. Debates is something I cannot recollect which actually happened, but yes we do have an auditorium like the one in Rang de basanti which we used to call masti ki pathshaala.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was not active at that time (in 2004 2008) need to check if they are providing hostel facility now.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty

Faculty is good, friendly they also take extra classes on weekends if you are not able to understand some topics or chapters curriculam was as per the university standard and was at par with other universities.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.
