Review on GEC, GANDHINAGAR

Instrumentation and Control is a very versatile branch. The university has its curriculum designed as per the requirement of a student before going to experience refinery or a start up project. The university sometimes is determined towards making change in curriculum every year according to the industrial need.

The placement cell of the college is very serious about the students getting their jobs. Option is provided to the students whether or not about their will to sit in the placement. The most companies that arrive are local from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Vadodara. There are very few MNCs that come to college.

The term fee is 1500, which is to be paid every year. Along with that there is exam fees that is to be paid before the commencement of an exam...exam fees vary from subject to subject. There are various government scholarships available for different sectors of people. Female students have their term fees as NIL.

The infrastructure provided is one of the best. The library is up to date but the system is quite slow...along with that there are very few extra curricular activities that are involved in the college. There are various groups and clubs that a person can join.

The hostel is well equipped with furniture. The rooms have a specific Design and every room is a replica of its adjacent room. There is NO MESS, NO MEAL provided in the hostel. There are as such no other amenities provided.

The college comes under Gujarat Technological University. The admissions were done by the procedure of ACPC. A person can have their admission either on domicile basis or on India level. At domicile one requires to give GUJCET. And at India level one requires to appear for JEE.
