Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are good and cover deep concept. The curriculum is made in such a way that It makes you to be a good engineer. The area of improvement could be the practical things to be taught more than theoretical. Exans happens at almost every month of sem

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 9600 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are good. But not God for some departments. Many companies like Tata, google, Mahindra, skyroot, spacefield, Vikash group etc. Offer of 35 lac for google. Google 35lac, Vikash group 7 lac and the average for the total could be 8 lac for all departments. 70% Students get placed and some go for start-up and higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for phd in mech in the year 2023 was 9600 inr but it has been revised this year to 15200. The complete cost including the hostel and mesh along with the tution fee could be approx 3.5 lac for 5 years of phd. Stipend we get 37000/- PM.

Campus Life

There are multiple fest in campus being organized every yr including Zeitgeist, arohan etc. Almost after every three months. There is not much range but yeah almost for every engg subject and also not much in qty. Provisions include term-end project, assignments, quizzes and 75 attendance. The interIIT covers many sports and arohan calls nearby institutions to compete with iitropar. Many clubs like alpha production, Arturo etc. And pehchan ek safar NGO

Hello, My name is Devraj Chauhan. I have got the phd seat at IITRPR just aftet finishing MTech. The application process probably came in March and interview for the same was completed by may 25th. Course Curriculum Overview:

This course was chosen due to I have done my post-graduation in material science-related project. That's why i have enrolled in this course. The papers are well related to the research area on which they want to research. There should be some improvement required on the course curriculum i.e there should be some moderns technology subjects must be included and teaching methodologies should be easy to understandable. In a semester generally, two exams were conducted (i.e. mid sem and end sem) and the level is a little bit difficult.

1. It is one of the premier institutes in India. 2. It is near to my home town Jammu.3. The CSE faculty is very good. Almost everyone of them has at least one degree from international university like Yale, Georgia Tech, University of Waterloo, etc.

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More

IIT Ropar, in race wth new emerging IITs

Admission was done through Josaa, a joint seat allocation authority. An exam was conducted before this - Jee Advanced, after attaining a specific cutoff rank, you get admission to IIT.
