Remarks

Sorry to say but not all the teachers teach well so some improvisaion is required and term work marks need to be evaluated properly.Infrastructure is not bad but not so good as per the standards and the brand name of the college. Some tips and tricks shoul

Entrance Preview

No Entrance exam, based on Diploma in Computer Science Merit. I secured 77% in diploma third year and got admission through minority quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was as per mumbai university guidelines. Lectures and practicals were scheduled properly. Two elective subjects were offered per semester.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't go for any internship and hence dont have much knowledge for the same. Internship was actually never discussed by staff or students as long as I remember.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements were good as compared to other engineering colleges. I think it was app. 80%. Most of the MNC's like Accenture, Deloitte, CapGemini, Infosys, TCS etc. visited for campus interviews.

College Events

4

College celebrated many curricular and extra-curricular activities at grand scale. Various student chapters existed and Industrial visits were also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the college is located in Bandra, Mumbai fee is bit expensive but reasonable and feasible. It was Rs. 75000/- pa. which consisted of tuition fees, exam fees and all other fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Frankly speaking I am not aware about scholarship or loan facilities in the college. But i guess all good colleges offer these to first three toppers.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was cool and active. The locality and students are smart and active. Many activities on presentation and communication were carried out in the subject presentation skills. As it is a part of western mumbai some students are over smart and might discriminate you based on your personality, fro where you come, economic status, religion etc. but not all very few.

Hostel Facilities

3

Feeling bad but i am not aware whether there was a hostel or not in the college as i didnt feel the need of it any time.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are good in nature and co-operative in case of any help or guidance required. All mix up and celebrate all the events with good enthu. and passion at a great scale.

Exam Structure

Infrastructure of the college is sufficient for conduction of exams properly both theory and lab exams.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculties in the college were experienced and punctual. Termwork marks given were less than deserved. H.O.D. and placement officer were co-operative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
