Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in computer based course and i got admission in computer science programme. The curriculum prepares me towards the real world by giving us talks and problems related to talk would like situations

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell here offers very few opportunities. It is not very satisfactory. The average package is around 2LPA. Students should seek out for job opportunities on their own but a supportive faculty is there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 10000 per annum. It is pretty affordable for the quality provided. Many scholarships namely PRAGATI, EGRANTS etc and financial aids are also available as it is a government controolled institution.

Campus Life

Tech fests and arts fest are held annually. Tech fest is known in the name INVENTO and Arts fest named DAKSHA.. INVENTO is held once in 2 years and DAKSHA is held once a year. There are many active clubs like IEEE , Robotics , SAE etc.

Hostel Facilities

Government hostels are available but it has only limited seats . But there are many private hostels nearby. Govt hostels are more affordable compared to other hostels. Quality meal is provided. Private hostels cost around 4000 per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Admission process is through KEAM examination... It comes under CEE.. Reservation is available.. The examination is moderately difficult... Eligibility is based on KEAM score... It involves one trial allotment process and three provisional allotments.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.
