Course Curriculum Overview

I had decision to join a computer related programme but since my rank is low so I joined for electrical engineering The curriculum prepares me towards the real world by giving us talk and problem related to talk would like situation Teaching level here is good Internal exams are held

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are average here. For computer science and information technology there are plenty Of placement here But for electrical and electronic and civil engineering placements are less because these two branches are new here

Fees and Financial Aid

Free structure here is 10000 per year since it is Government College and it is affordable Many scholarships are there for eligible students like egrantz,pragati,mcm,etc Fee is pretty low here compared to other colleges

Campus Life

College has an average infrastructure Campus is less compared to other colleges There is tech fest and arts fest here.tech fest is called invento and arts fest is called daksha There are many active club here like robotics club,IEEE,SAE,EMRC,and many others

Hostel Facilities

In college hostel fee is very less compared to other private hostel There is mess cut for students in college hostel.fee structure is about 2000 per month . admission in college hostel is done by checking our annual income and by checking distance from our native place I could'nt get admission in college hostel so I'm currently at private hostel Fee structure there is 4200 per month

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

I took admission here by scoring keam entrance exam . There are reservation benefits in ranking of keam exam. Keam entrance exam is comparatively simple to jee. By getting a good rank in keam we can get admission here

I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. The average package offered is 100000-200000 per year and more than 10 companies visit per year. About 80 percentage of students are getting placed though campus placement. My plans after getting the degree is to find a job outside of india if i can

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies

I have a crazy about computers,codes and many more that's why I like more computer related course and some good coding skills are necessary if you plan to move along the course.the time period of exam are very short if an exam pass by and next exam would be happening the coming 2nd week it's very hard to improve in that short period
