Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As a honours student in mathematics I choice the college for the facilities provided by the facilities. I remember that I ask so many seniors about the faculty and everyone is said that as a mathematics honours point of view college was great.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship cell was not great as you expected. Some small companies gave you a internship in lowest package. Which is not at good as you think. They treated you as you did not know anything and gave internship of lowest package.

The mathematics honours curriculum influence my decision to choose these course because of its strong emphasis on core subjects like calculus algebra and analysis which build solid theoretical foundation and logical thinking skills. The course prepared students will for higher studies and comparative exams by focusing on conceptual clarity proves and problem solving some topics also offer practical relevance in field suggest statistics data analysis and applied sciences. Cirrculam is more theoritical just. There is negligible practical life lessons. Just like normal college, u study just to get degree. The whole cirriculam should be improved. Examination is held only once - midsems, endsems thats all.

However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

I currently in 2nd year, so I don't have much idea about placements that college offers. But have a brief idea on the besis of the seniors. My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.
