Ground of college is not not maintained and computers in lab are not working well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested for choosing cse branch so, I choose the cse branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams .

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee of GEC Raipur is around 18 thousand rupees per year but if you are ST/SC/OBC student and have income of your parents less than 1 lakh your fees will waived of you have to pay around 2 thousand 8 hundred. The scholarship name is CG post matric scholarship.

Campus Life

In GEC Raipur have two fest in the year first is sport's fest i.e Aayam GECR and second is technical fest i.e Aavesh. The library is central library there are almost all kinds of books are available. The classes are good. Gec raipur also have basketball ground, badminton court. Sports team are kho-kho, cricket, football, basketball etc.

Admission

The eligibility of the admission of gec raipur is 12th pass from any recognize board.An entrance exam CGPET is required for the admission in gec.CGPET application form is filled through cgvyapam website, there is no exam fees for anyone the exam fees is totally free. Further counseling is done in cgdte website. There is no reservation benifit only merit base admission is available. Duration of exam is 3 hours. Campus admission process can be improved.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Ssipmt Raipur review my experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

The placements are not at all good here, the highest package ever is 7.5LPA and the lowest is 1.25LPA so the average usually comes around 2.5LPA which is not enough with the current inflation rates of our country. And they don't get very big companies to come for the hiring.
