For a student who has a keen interest in food sector ,this is the best place.

I opted this college as I have a keen Interest in persuing food technology as my career and the best option in India to study Food technology is NIFTEM as it is a specially designed College by Government focussing on food technology completely and is directly under the Ministry of food processing industry of India..with an outstanding knfrastructure and facilities..

The course curriculum is littld hectic in comparision to the other btech courses and othe colleges.. as this is the only college in India who has murged btech with management in single branch.. So we are bound to study management subjects with btech subjects in every semester but this results in good campus placements.

Yes Niftem provides internship of 6 months in the 4th year ie, 8th semester of the btech programme is completely internship .companies come and take students for internship on the basis of interview and GD.

Placement of the college is really very good..In very few years of the college ,the college has too good companies that come for the Campus and almost 100% placement is offered.Companies Like Mondelez ,Nestle,mother dairy and many more come for campus and take ample of students.

As being a national institute ,students from diverse states study here .. So festivals of every state are celebrated with great Zeal.. Apart from that there are 2 fests that take place in the college .One is the Cultural Fest and the other is the tech fest. Also a sports league is organized every year.

For a common Middle Class ,the fee structure may be a bit expensive but when compared to the facilities offered by the college the fee is justifiable .The fee for the btech course is approx 1,20,000rs per semester. This includes the hostel fee and all othe maintainance charges.

Scolarship is given to the students accoding to the merit .The top 3 students in each year get a chance to go for foreign exchange programme.

Campus is lush green and big.. where in the strength of the students is less due to single branch. Campus is maintained beautifully .The gender ratio in terms of girls is to boys is approx 1:2.Enormous extra curricular activities are held in the campus for the skill development of the students.lab facilities are one of the best in India..

Hostel facilities when compared to the college infrastructure is a little low. But when compared with the hostels and facilities of any other government college, the hostels are exceptionally good with spacious rooms and proper furniture. Overall the facilities of the hostels are good.

Alumnies be in close contact with their juniors .They are very helpful and cooperative.. They guide a lot.

The Exam structure is not very complicated .. There are 2 main exams that take place in each semester..One is the mid term and then the End terms. Internal assessment is done based on Quiz, library paper and attendence. Practical exam are held seperately .

I appeared in the Jee Mains all india entrance exam after my 12th ..The form for the college is to be filled as the councelling takes place seperately on the basis of jee mains rank. I was short listed according to the rank.. and fee was to be submitted within the given deadline.

Faculty of the college are good ..They are very knowledgable and almost everyonee is a scholar from one or the other IIT . They are cooperative and helpful.As a faculty of a National college they are very puntual and worth being a faculty of a national college.
