The IIT Madras BS Data Science and Application program.

As we all know that in today's world data science and machine learning is a budding career option and a good data scientist is required in almost each and every feild. Keeping that in mind IIT Madras as always has put out an excellent course of 4 year to become the best data scientist for whom the world has awaited for. These aspects of the cirriculum influenced my decision to choose this course. Along with these there are various real-world project that makes the indivitual future ready.

There is internship oppurtunities available after completing the second year. This internship helps to increase your credit score which will help you to get a better job during on campus placement and also will increase your experience and knowledge about the real world.

Campus placement facilities in the program are excellent. Though the program is online but the placements provided are really in good companies and successful startups. Infact I am also looking forward to take my first job from the on-campus placements.

So, to start along with the course registration you have to pay 3000/- at the first and the amounts are clearly mentioned as one goes on with the course. If someone is economically backward then there are financial aids available for the students. Since the program is online, a lot much is not in campus but campus placements are there as wll as there is a ton of fun and enjoyable responsibility that students can take on during the fest(Paradox).

Since it is an online degree so there is not much involment in campus but during fest people go to the campus and meet there friends, teachers and have a lot of fun. Basically there are two fest one is paradox which held in the month of May and the other one is a technical fest called the Shaastra held in the month of January.

For the admission to IIT Madras Bs Degree in Data Science and Application, everyone has to go through a learning process in which the teachers teach you four week content on the topics like Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Thinking, and English. After the four week content you have to appear for an exam called the qualifiers in which you have to achieve atleast 40% marks to get selected for the course.
