Remarks

Best college.100 percent student are placed in our college if student performance are good. The college also focus on extra activities and other self improvement events. The guest are also invited for lecture to motivate.

I wanted to study in government college because of fees as well as demand and value of government degree.to I decided to go for government college according to my mark I got this college I wanted to study in any government college, not particular college this college. I got according to my marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is vast and interesting.I learn various civil engineering fact and very carefully focus on practical section.At every semester we done some internal project and some are the extra subject for learning. At last semester we done research paper on Project.

No our college not provide internship because they provide visit . so that no stipend amount for student

College Events

Every year college conducted the annual program in which they conducted technical cultural as well as sports events too. Also celebrate every national ( republic independence )religious and linguistic demographics holidays. All students and teachers are actively involved in every event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was affordable to me because of facility. Total fee per year varies because of inclusion of college maintenance fees but it is affordable to compare with other government colleges. As it is government college it is good for learning and placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

No because is government college is not provided any type of scholarship or loan facility. There is according to our cast as well as income certificate we can apply for different scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is very good covered with lots of trees overall eco-friendly campus. Gender ratio is about 50-60 male /female. Not an effective lab. Sports is very active in college mainly cricket football and volleyball. In Every sports each year University compilation is organised.

Hostel Facilities

yes, the hostel also very clean because of newly constructed buildings and affordable. Food was also healthy you can join college mess or you also willing to take tiffin from outside there is no restriction. Lots of parking area for the hostel. Also having clean drinking water facility.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni program they had started in last year it was good to see lots of alumni came and very well interactive and shared ther experience with us .

Exam Structure

This college is under Gondwana University. They conducted rxam as semester pattern. each semester of six months. Total eight semesters in four years of engineering. If you fail in exam you can apply for next semester.Not more tired and chill,we do it very carefully

Admission

On MH CET Marks Basis, i took admission in this college.After that there is no interview process was followed.Only document verification is done on specific allotted date.for that you have to all documents ready on that day. I choose civil enginerring as i m interested in constructions.

Faculty

All are very good in technical and to explain the concepts to a student. At every lecture first they revise what we learn yesterday and then start to learn new thing. Always give proper suggestion to each and every student. They are very active also conducted extra classes to cover the syllabus.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I applied to a few other engineering colleges through the CAP round such as Government College of engineering ,Nagpur and priyadarshani College of engineering ,Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering our I got confirm admission to my current college based on my CAP on allotment in second CAP round . In first CAP round I get the Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering. Iwanted to get addmission in that college because the college is good and near from my home city, but when the first CAP result is out I contacted to the college for the addmission but they said that the college fees is 60000 that's why I go to the next CAP round.and I get this college. To get admission, we have to give entrance exam MHTCET, The necessary Cutoff for General Category is nearly 86%ile .And for other categories it is bit less. The application of MHTCET exam are announced by Maharashtra Cell and you can check the dates when they provide by visiting their website. Timing of exams and everything is good ,I don't think it need any changes. To take admission in this college, you must have completed 12th or diploma. If you have completed 12th then you have to give an entrance exam called CET (common entrance test).
