- Less fee structure,good for people with low income
- It provide B.Tech degree instead of B.E as most college provide B.E degree
- Campus is wide and there are so much greenery which student like
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not as good as it should be, Administration building and other departments are there ,but seating benches still feel old
- Proper Parking Facility is not there, students park their vehicles in ground.
- Placement rate is so low , Sometimes renowned companies come but provide low packages for other branches and for CSE branch very rarely placement occur.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum includes all the things that needed to be as a CS student , Topics such as AI and ML influenced to take the course. Curriculum provides basic knowledge of all the things ,but I think it fail to provide real life application, they can be achieved by doing projects and internship. Improvements should be done in curriculum as a CS student it feels outdated , we should be covering Java and Python language in 2nd year ,but this is in third year of academic which feels that we're learning at lower pace and getting out of this competitive world. There are 2 sessional exams and one final semester exam, timing is properly managed but for each semester only 3 months is allocated for completion of syllabus , which in my opinion is less ,it should be extended.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is very low compared to any other colleges,it is the plus side, no such hikes are seen in previous years only little bit of 500-1000. Complete fees of my course in general category is aprrox 25000 for each year and for other categories it is far less. Scholarship for different categories are available and the students can apply for benefit. But there is no such campus roles are available which will provide any stipend this is the downside of the college.
Campus Life
Annually there is a Abhirang fest which is usually held in the January, in which students involve and perform and showcase their cultural skill ,this fest continue with 3 days and the other fest held is TechnoUtsav in which different technical related sports such as hackathon,robot soccer ,robo sumo and othe things are conducted and the winner get rewarded. Almost all the books related to syllabus is available and the new Library is there which has been recently build and have enough books to engage students and spacious environment is available. Classroom has a digital board and projector which is used by faculties to teach with visual aspects. Annually College Level sports is conducted and winner are awarded, good players also get selected for University games. Each department has their own club and they also held fun activities for all students one after one , and Musical,Dance, Environment Club is also present.
Admission
To get admission, we have to give entrance exam MHTCET, The necessary Cutoff for General Category is nearly 86%ile .And for other categories it is bit less. The application of MHTCET exam are announced by Maharashtra Cell and you can check the dates when they provide by visiting their website. Timing of exams and everything is good ,I don't think it need any changes. Admission process is also smooth ,yes it will be little bit difficult if students from different cities are coming to take admission,but overall it is good
Faculty
Faculty for each subject is available, some faculties take lectures of more than one subject of junior and senior ,but for each given semester different faculty is assigned for each subject. Teaching method and approach is good ,they provide basic knowledge about the field and teach properly ,only issue is that they never complete whole syllabus in the given time which affects the learning experience. They are interactive, if any doubt is there they will try to solve it without hesitation and support in development.
