Course Curriculum Overview

It is a Automation branch.in this we have many of things to gain knowledge about control system. in industry we deals with machines, many of equipment. in this course we study it very well. and able to do job in core sector.

Internships Opportunities

Their is ciits internship program.also TATA CULSULTING SERVICE training program.this is 1 month training program in which we have to perform various task conducted by them.for the selection of traning we need to pay some money and also give selection exam.

Placement Experience

No campus placement offers for 1st or 2nd year students. i am in 3 rd year after the 5 th sem we'll campus selection for this we have to scored maximum marks in every semester. I am not visited any company till the day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am belonging to SC Catagory. and my family is financially not stable. the structure of my College fees is that I have to payed about 8 thousands for this course. I am getting benefits from Post matric scholarship scheme. but it is not sufficient for my whole course study complition. Their is no job on campus with stipend.

In February every year their is an annual function called "ABHIRANG". Many of sports event, compitions and fun is thier and the important thing is that all this is conducted by the students community.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

College has placement but mostly they are statups but there is no such big company who take part in placment drive. The student should be in 2nd year of diploma and 4th year in phamarcy. The highest package is 400000 and avg is of 100000.

The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. Choose better Career than Engineering

I have applied to G.H Raisoni college of Engineering from Nagpur and Rajeev Gandhi College of Engineering Research and Technology, Chandrapur. I have been accepted by bothe the colleges. But the reason I chose Government college of Engineering, Chandrapur as it was affordable. RCERT was relatively expensive. Moreover GEC had better facilities in terms of learning and placement opportunities. I have appeared for MH-CET, Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. The admission process was smooth. There were the CAP rounds conducted and once the student has finalized the university tehy need to do the admission process in college. Also the cut off for open category was 90, so I had made more than it, so it was easy to get there. I just regret that later GCE was later affiliated to Gondwana University Gadchiroli...Read More
