Course Curriculum Overview
I had choosen BA (Political science) Hons. because I am so curious to know the political development of my country as well as the international relations that our country has made. This course will definitely help me to built my personality and mindset towards the wellbeing of my country and made me so strong that I always keep my country first before myself. Yeah there should be one improvement in the course curriculum is that there are some subjects that I really wanted to study like geography in my course combination but due to some reasons I couldn't got. Otherwise the teaching methods of professors are good. The frequency of semester exams are good but the timing is not good because after getting admission in this college we all have studied only for 3 months and gave all the exams.So, I requested to all my respected faculty that please try to balance the timing of semester exams so that students could get enough timing for study and make them well prepared for giving exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fee structure for BA hons( Political science) is 10,800 which is fixed and there is no any extra fee for other services for the next three years till the graduation. There are no scholarships or financial aid is available for students like us who are coming from Bihar State to study in BHU.There is no any campus employment I have undertaken including job roles, responsibilities, and the stipends awarded.
Campus Life
Sports like kabaddi, khokho, basketball and cricket like activities are typically held by our college.Almost all books of every publication whether they are our course books or books like novels, literature, religious books also available in our library on a vast range. The facilities like well furnished benches and desks, mercury bulbs and so many fans. There is also the availability of normal blackboards along with digital boards in each and every classroom. There are so many extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, mountaineering and swimming happens. There are so many student run social groups, clubs or student portals like akshar, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi parishad(ABVP) , etc.
Admission
I had opted for BA course in which general test and language paper was mandatory.I got the application form from the official website of UGC and paid 1400 rupees for filling the form on 9th March 2023. According to me the timing given for each question was more than enough. Along with all these things there are so many areas in which some steps should be taken like to minimise the lengthy process of filling the form, long schedule of examination, filling multiple forms for the registration of each university.
