- The lack of enthusiasm in students towards learning new things is a major flaw which I noticed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The cirriculum provided by the professors is very interesting and is a very good enabler to draw an indepth understanding of the different varieties of fields you could choose in a particular subject; As an economics student; the inclusion of fiscal and monetary policies give you a fair idea of how the national bank works; as well as the farmer suicides issue which we have a paper on; gives a very good insight on the ongoing agrarian issues. The teaching methods are fairly nice and well said; however it would be nice if teachers could provide more application based solutions to the queries of student. As I mentioned the frequency of exams is 2 end semesters per year and the difficulty level is moderate.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a slight increase in your tution fees every year; but it shouldn't cross more than a few hundred rupees. The overall cost for my education was roughly about 16 thousand rupees including every costs. I am not aware of any scholarships or financial aids directly provided by my college however you could always check Mumbai University's Portal for the same. Career fairs are held in our college but I doubt if they provide you with any substantial career options; the alumni network is strong and it is a very good way to land high paying jobs.
Campus Life :
We have our annual fest Visons and Utkarsha which is held in Jan/Feb every year and is really nice; the library is the best part of our college which holds a plethora of books and collections of research papers; each classroom is equipped with projectors and is frequently used by our professors for ppts; The gymkhana holds carrom boards; Table Tennis tables and chess boards which is open for every student. There isn't really any sport based activities on campus; however one could always apply for NCC.
Admission :
The eliigibilty of this course is to clear your 12th grade exams with high percentage; you would atleast need around 80% to get the desired subjects of your choice. The application form would be available on the college's website as well as the portal of admissions opened by Mumbai University itself. There are reservations; only if; you belong to SC/ST/OBC or you're a dissident of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka; you could avail minority benefits and there is a seperate list laid out for the applied students. There are 2 end semester exams accompanied with 2 mid-term exams and an array of projects; the difficulty of the exams is moderate and the professors help you as much as they can; for you to flourish with good grades. The only issue with the admission process is that it has zero marketing; so you need to be updated about every single notice from the college website itself.

The cut off was way too high, and the student life in this college isn't the most perfect setting to excel in academics.
