Overall experience in srm university chennai

digital systems,signal and system, c programming, data structures and alogrithms, microprocessors and micro controllers. courses have good curriculum with praticals and projects. so these aspects helped me chosing this course. I think area of improvements focusing application oriented rather than theory based. using tools what can we do diffrently. difficulty of exams is medium to hard. every year 2 semsters depends on course you enrolled.

Placements in my college mostly service based companies and products based companies a litte. but average package was 300000 lakhs. below that students are not allowed sit. TCS,coginzant,infosys,hcl,amazon,value labs,philips,intel,reliance jio. highest package was 45 lakhs from microsoft. average package 7lakhs i would say 80 percentage. get job and gaining real time experience..

Tution fee is 250000 which is high compare other college. I think complete cost of eduction would be around 270000. the people who under rank 1000 they got scholorships. and the student who performed well in acdameics and received 9.8 grade recieved 90% schorlship.My friend krishna chaitnaya and sai praneeth got scholarship based on grades. i got offer from service based company. placement is complete depends on individual. I would say average 3.5 lakhs.mostly programming. and vlsi job roles.

my overall experience was pretty good with campus life. which i could spent more on soical aspeets and clubs Our university conducts aarush and milan in september and febarary. range and accesbility of books not available during peak time of exams. classrooms are very good. but some teachers underqualified regarding subjects. Sports and extracurricular activties offered are inter hostel competition on sports. clubs such as sensors ,racing clubs, programming clubs.

i have 1 single bedroom with 2 beds with 2 people sharing. food is average not good mostly suited to chennai people. registration process for hostel and affordablily is peak couldn't afford any of them. inside campus. hostel campus are good.

I got rank of 20848. So inorder to get into Ece . cutoff rank was under 25000. In order to get admission first you need pay 5000 rs/- as admission fee. then they give acknowledgement admission form. Once admission is done they email and password. login in portal to get aplication form and aplication fees. I find application form and application fees and application date through srmist portol. i have downloaded from it. paid fee in srm ist portal I went to public hall of srm university. there is a board which display seats left each branch. I couldn't get cse and it. so i opted for ece. I think exam was easy to medium. basic 12th mathmatics and basic pysics and basic chemisry of 11th and 12th is fine. the process is verylengthy.i suggest online rerservation based on my marks and rank. will be better.
