Here i like food quality and numbers of items.
Here are many clubs of different aspects.
Campus is nice and pleasant. No much pollution.

Dislikes

Course is good but sometimes tough and except some most of the teachers are good.
Our campus could be made more beautiful. Many places are abundant.
Here outside of campus bus auto can't be found after 8pm

This course is very relevance if you wanna pursue PHD or post doc.. as in 1st year you can learn 5 subjects PCMB+Earth Science.. so you can know which subject do you like.. here profs are as good as IITs

This college is for those who wants phd or post doc.. so here is opportunity cell not placement cell.. if want good job.. then you have to find yourself.. but course quality is good enough.. and institute is very well known.. here 30% students go for placement and mean package is 7lpa.. but opportunity for phd or post doc is very good.. you will easily find scholarship

Here for general students frees are 50k per semester and 9082 per semester for sc/st students.. you can get all state or Central scholarships for general science studies like SVMCM , INSPIRE.. is this institution most of the students go for PHD or post doc so don't ask very much for placements.. you have to find yours and mean package is 7lpa

Campus Life

Here campus life is very good.. no ragging.. there are many many clubs of different aspects.. like sports drama social cultural etc. You will never be bored.. here are grounds for every sports.. and a huge auditorium and many joyful mind

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good enough.. but sometimes water quality decreases.. taking hostel is compulsory.. wifi speed is good.. sometime touches 10 mbps and something 100kbps.. rooms sizes are average.. not very big not very small

At 1st you have to crack the the IAT(IISER Aptitude Test).. hardness of this exam is near jee main level.. there are 4 subjects PCMB.. you have to answer all subjects.. cut off for SC is around 75.. for general around 150

Life at IIT Kharagpur

Placement Experience:

Placements in the campus are good. Most of the tech companies allow all the branches to sit for the tests. Eligibility criterial for many companies is around 7 CGPA. The average package is around 15 LPA. 90%of registered students get placed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course for the first year is easy overall , maybe challenging for biology students because involvement of Maths in the curriculum but they can decrease their load by practicing Maths problems, asking doubts, approaching the instructors or their personal mentors. Otherwise the course is mixed in a good way with theoretical and practical part. Labs are conducted of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and CS in first year. You can choose CS as an minor in higher classes.

IIT Kharagpur - The dream college of JEE Aspirants | Detailed and Comprehensive Review

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement season starts here in IIT Kharagpur in the end of the pre-final semester or the fisrt semester of the final year. Companies start visiting the campus in the month of December every year for Phase 1, and in January for Phase 2. Top Product based companies like - Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Netflix, Uber, Zomato etc..come for placements and give high CTC like 40 LPA and even above for Software profiles. There are various profiles available in companies coming for placements - software, Data, machine Learning, Finance, Product, consulting, UI/UX designing and so on. Almost 80 % students get placed in our college every year and number of offers is as close as 1800 every year. Many students get pre-placement offers as well, after the completion of their internships and they are not eligible for placements. I am planning to sit for palcements this year and aiming for software, data analysis, consulting and UI/UX designing roles.

The placement in Our college is quite good.Normally around 80% of the people get placed through CDC which is the on campus organisation that connects students with companies.The placement cell even provides some foreign internships and jobs due to immense amount of connections they have around the world.They even conduct workshops to help the students know about the industry and acquire soft skills which are needed to get placed.

Placement Experience:

In the final year, a student is eligible for campus placements, 75% of the registered students are placed and the others have to go for off campus placements. also here if you are in a good branch, you will get good package otherwise, you will get w=very low package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for the medical exam in 2014-2016, i appeared in 2016 AIPMT exam 2016, but did not get better college and so i heard about IISER exam that we can we go for higher study from here. i was interested that i can go to the medical research after completing my degree from IISER. yes we can go to ICMR and research field in any department if you have qualified from IISER with your dedication. you can go foreign for higher study like Phd. There shoud be more laboratry so that it easy for individual practices. The exam taken in IISER is semester wise with fraction like mid sem and end sem. with the perfect schedule. The exam of IISER is good level in each deparments.

I took admission in this college on the basis of jee advanced score. I took admission because i was eligible for the fellowship but i didn't get because the government removed the scheme that year. IISER COLLEGE ONE SHOT

The students need to qualify 12th exam from first class you can search the for latest criteria for appear for the exam.I got application form from cyber cafe near my room in patna. as i had no cell phone that time. Generally the application form released in the may first week and the exam conducted in the june month and after that counselling happend on the basis of AIR. In Previous year IISER selection was by three modes, IISER Aptitude test, JEE Advanced rank, KVPY. But now only one mode is happening only by IISER test rank. if you are interested to take admission in IISERs so keep prepared at NEET and JEE level question. you will have to study PCMB for good rank. you cant get good rank by either PCM or PCB....Read More
