Remarks

Our college is one of the best private colleges who provides the courses with affordable fees. It has an environment of study and faculty guide us about our academic and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the B.Sc in Geography, it's a very good subject my further education. Our department focuses very much on practicals. There is a number of practicals classes.

Placement Experience

There is no placement scenario for students about my knowledge. It provides only for those students who have to complete their Master in Science. There is not much internship. It's only for M.Sc students it has been kept.

College Events

Yes, various events and competition are held in our college like Cultural fest, workshops, Fresher day, Environment day, Republic day. There are also held sports yearly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Every month there are lab charge and other charges and yearly the amount is nearly 7500 that's why the fee is around 7500 rupees per annum for my course with all charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship facility is available here but out only for the minority students. I think the loan facility is also available for needed students.

Faculty

They are very friendly and we thus shared a good bond and many memories with them. All the faculty are well qualified. They are very interactive with us. The teaching quality is also good. They had very good knowledge of their subjects.

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Remarks:

This college is extremely good and known for its discipline and the stress it puts on the importance of studying. Also, there are many extra curricular activities thag one can take part in, and the teachers are helpful and encourages for a better future and are also vert capable. I opted for the course because any biology related course excites me and this college has one of the best faculty for this course.
