Likes

hostel is clean and washrooms are also cleaned everyday.
big fests happen in our college and big big people come for opening and closing ceremony and dj's happen at the end of every fest
clubs are there for almost everything in our college from sports to dance and singing.

Dislikes

location of the college is too far from the city.
mess food is not that good, vendors make something good and then something bad.
proper food outlets are not there in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

i took chemical and biochemical engineering as my course in iit patna. i took it as it is a growing industry and decent paying job are given. we have branch cources in which we study about the branch which help much. we have 2 exams per semester - mid semester and end semester exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

decent amount of opportunies come to our college for the internship and childern also do internships from out side the campus. companies like google , sprinker gives internship. there are many female specific opportunies also available.

Placement Experience

placements in college are good. average package for the college is also decent enough. companies like google, sprinkler,etc and core companies like ONGC, TATA etc also comes. a good percent of students gets placed (more than 95% according to stats.).

Fees and Financial Aid

some category children do not have to pay for tution fees. and fee concession is also provided for children comming from less income background. except tution fees childern have to pay for every other fees- hostel, mess etc. many other scholarships are also provided shuch as MCM scholarship by goverment.

Campus Life

overall experience in campus life i good only. we have 3 big fests in our college- celesta for tech, anwesha for cultural and infinito for sports. and many more function keep on happening every time in college. and there are clubs for almost every thing for students.

Hostel Facilities

almost every facility is provided in hostel that is to be given. cleaning staff cleans the room every week and all sanitation is good. menu changes very month but food is okayish only. we have to live in hostel rooms only we can't live in outside pg's.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

I gave iitjee exam to take admission in govt. engineering colleges like iit, nit, iiit ,etc. These colleges take admission through this paper. the admission process was smooth in iit patna. application for admission was through josaa councelling. everything was almost good only for the admission process

NIT-Patna at a Glance

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

A short review about NIT Patna

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is decsent comparaing to other institutes . Every nigger companies comes and recruits the students with descent packages and in some case with extraodrinary CTCs . Basically there is mass recruitment in Civil and mechanical branches . Also the IT recruiters give chances and packages to lots of eligible student irrespective their branches .

NITP COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 3rd year onwards and till completion of 4th and last year.The students are also eligible for the interships offers from 3rd year onwards. Various companies visited in our college including GOOGLE,AMAZON,JP MORGAN,FLIPKARK,SAMSUNG,NVIDIEA,ORACLE,INFOSYSand many more and are offering 2-3 job offers per student . The highest package in our college this year is 27 lakh ctc from samsung.7 students are able grab this mighty oppurtunities and are companies are still visting for hiring. The average placement of the students are nearly Rs 6 lakh CTC. The percentage placement is nearly 100% in our college except for some braches like civil and mechanical where the placement percentage are nearly 80-85%. My plan is to go for UPSC exam after getting degree from this college.

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. IIT Patna Through An Honest Insider's Perspective

Basically i gave JEE and according to my JEE Advanced rank of 2023 i was getting EE/ECE in some og the Mother IITs but i didn't want to pursue electrical engineering so took CSE in IITP. So basically as I came to IIT for btech... It take entrance exam called as the jee mains and jee advanced.
