BS in AI-CS at IITP revolutionizing Indian tech sector

You, after being a graduate from this course, gain the prestigious alumni status of IIT Patna. After the integrated BS-MS, you can get job in the top companies such as googlez amazon, meta, etc. You can take admission in executive Phd(MS + Phd) as well after completion of your BS if you want to study further. The exams are frequent well enough to let you get in touch with the studies so that you don't forget anything studied in class.

Some of the major recruiters are wipro, oracle, infosys, intel, ICICI Bank, TCS, IBM, Philips, OXFORD University Press, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, Ford, Samsung, Bank of Baroda, Airtel, Nokia, Accenture, SBI, Amazon, Bosch, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla Group, Honeywell, Citibank, Genpact, cisco, vmware, cognizant, vodafone india, Capgemini, SAP. etc. Besides, students pursuing BS in Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity get opportunities toget internships in big companies such as Google, atlassian, Texam instruments, Samsung, DRDO, Salesforce, American Express, Morgan Stanley, media.net, and many more. As per the data of 2022-23, 91.26% students get placement after pursuing this. I'm planning to get a job in a multinational company and after gaining some experience about the corporate world and building real-world skills, I will establish my own startup related to precision agriculture which would combine artificial intelligence with agricultural engineering.

I have taken admission in BS in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity(AI-CS) from IIT Patna. It's a 4 year long course. You can take admission in BSc(if continue for 3 years) or BS-MS(if continue for 5 years)as well. I decided to take admission in this degree when I was already pursuing a degree in agricultural engineering at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. During my 2nd year at the agricultural engineering college, I took admission in 1st year of BS in AI-CS at IIT Patna. The first year consists of 2 semesters just like the my offline college. First semester has 19 credits and 2nd semester has 20 credits. However, the course may be expensive for most of the students belonging to middle class family. For the first semester, you have to pay INR 49,816/- and you have to register for the second semester by paying INR 48,600/- before the completion of first semester exam. So, I paid a total of INR 98,416/- (approx. INR 1 Lakh/-) for the first year of BS in AI-CS at IIT Patna (I took admission in Autumn 2025 batch). The amount will remain same for my entire 4 years, that's it's not going to increase suddenly inbetween the course, but if you are taking admission in 2026 or afterwards, the admission fees may vary per year. So, you have to pay approximately INR 4 Lakh/- for completing the entire course of 4 years. Furthermore, if you take admission in BS-MS, the prices may be approximately 5 Lakhs/-(Rs. 5,00,000/-) for the entire 5 years. You can withdraw the course inbetween and reenter after taking some year gap(lateral entry) if any sort of financial problems appear. You become eligible for a lot of scholarships after taking admission here. I have applied for SBI scholarship which is Rs. 50,000/- per year till the completion of this course. In addition to this, you can take part in hackathons and group projects to earn some extra amount of money. This institute also provides internship opportunities inbetween the course. So

Iit Patna is a home to multiple events and fests. Recently, UDDHAV, a cultural fest was conducted in a vibrant mode for BS students during campus immersion. Xenith, an award ceremony was conducted recently. Besides, celesta, a techno management fest was conducted at IIT Patna. Infinito is an annual sports fest. Nebula is the fresher's party, Reverberencs is the diwali celebration event, Spandan is the signature event of IIT Patna, especially for first year students, Aspeiron is an annual coding fest of the CSE department of IIT Patna.Anwesha is a 3 day cultural and technomanagemant fest at IIT Patna. Since these are run entirely by students, these play a crucial role in the personal development of the organizers.TEDx is independently organized, TEDx at IIT Patna sparks deep discussions and connections within the student community.

I was already pursuing my B Tech degree in the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology OUAT Bhubaneswar. This college allows you to take admission in BS alongwith a B. Tech or any other degree(NEP 2020 policy). I appeared in NEET 2024 and qualified it with a score of 396/720. I shared my NEET score card when I applied to take admission in BS program. You can take admission through JEE or CUET or any other significant national level or statelevel entrance exams. If you have my appeared in any significant national or statelevel entrance exams after 12th, you can appear in IIT-SAT exam for taking admission in this course, but mathematics is mandatory. Maths should be a subject during your 12th. I visited the official website of IIT Patna, downloaded the brochure for taking admission in BS program in AI-CS. Then I contacted the admission team mentioned in the brochure. They guided me about the admission process. You need 10th and 12th marksheet, passport size photocopyz adhaar card, income certificate, resident certificate, etc, upload all the mentioned documents in pdf format in the correct order, send it to their email, then courier the documents in the given address, then after payment of fees you are a student of IIT Patna BS program and you will get an ID card of IIT Patna BS program after some days delivered to your address. The admission was smooth, but you have to keep yourself up-to-date and check your WhatsApp, messages and gamil/Outlook regularly to get the information. It's nearly one month long process from downloading the brochure from the official website to be called as a student of IIT Patna BS program.

The faculties are very much helpful for all the students especially the younger ones. They teach and explain the topics just like your elder brother so that you can connect with them properly. The faulties are approachable and answer every queries you mention during live class. The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 which is quite excellent for an online mode of study. There are 3 quizzes and 4 assignments alongwith the endsem exam all of which are completed within one semester. Quizzes carry 20% weightage, assignments carry 30% weightage and end sem carry 50% weightage, together they form 100% weightage. So, you have to make your 75% attendance compulsory, alongwith that you should score well in all the quizzes and assignments alongwith the endsem exam to score a good cgpa. The exams may be a little tough if you don't study daily. The course curriculum is relevant for the upcoming AI revolution in India. But being an online mode of study, you need a lot of discipline to get the best out of the course.

There is no entry or exit time. If you are inside campus, you can visit to cafeteria, outdoor gym, public areas at any moment. However, when the students of BS program attended the campus immersion of 15 days, they had to return inside their respective hostels before 10 pm.
