The course was overall good. They do focus on practical learning. There are many research initiatives which have been recently started.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship opportunity available as such. But it can be available for upcoming batches as it is important to seek practical knowledge and learning.

Placement Experience

Placement is below average. The campus has quite good placement than other branches. There is hope that it will grow in upcoming years.

College Events

There are many events happening throughout the year. 'NAKSHATRA' is one of the prime the fest here. There are many events happening during this fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure is quite the same as other engineering colleges in Mumbai Open-98000 Obc-61000 Sc-15000 St-15000 Sbc-8000

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is the scholarship available for OBC, ST, VJNT & SC students. Also, open students can avail scholarship benefits whose income doesn't exceed above 6Lakh per anum.

Hostel Facilities

I was not hosteller so can't give much information about the hostel life.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

There is quite a good alumni network to enhance the overall ability of students. There is regularly alumni interaction with students.

Faculty

The faculty is quite mixed including some good professors with some average professors. New professors are not much qualified and don't focus on practical learning at all, while some teachers are very good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

A good college for engineering

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees. You have to apply for it later when the college starts. Exams are not too tough and prepare you for the sem. Everything else is fine...Read More
