Freedom, students are not loaded with the attendance and curriculum load. They can improve themselves alot.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah, curriculum is good enough, no need to learn anything additional just go with the flow and get some good cgpa. It's treats to real world problems and must teach you politics. They should make more difficult curriculum as they have such good students after all.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 109000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, fees reduction mainly given to the students with categorical right and some also benefit it through Arya samaj. Complete fees almost take upto 6-7 lac. Not every student get scholarship but with the state criteria they can benefit it. Students can built there development really fast as it gives to complete freedom for self improvement.

Campus Life

Yeah, actually there is lot of stuff going like IIC program, workshop, competition, And tech-fest called Jnanagni. Students can get upto 7 books from library at a time for completely free. There is lot of students that they have there own YouTube channel and some of the started to earn.

Admission

Candidate must cleared jee mains. Application can be filled through the college portal. Yeah, reserved candidates got benefits like fees reduction etc. According to the difficulty, I would say it's less. They must set up a percentile limit when taking the admission.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
