Seniors that help us in all sort of needs and wants.
Events and fests are conducted in a healthy and friendly envitonment.
Fee structure is rather affordable even for mifdle class families.

Dislikes

Hostels aren't that good. Space isnt enough for 3 people per room.

Course Curriculum Overview

About the curriculum, I don't know much as I am still a first year student. But I get subjects that are taught here. It's understandable and pretty helpful for out future as well. We are also developing our skills through the skills being offered here.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is pretty reasonable here. 62500 rs of tuition fees is to be filled anually. The scholarship aid from government is also available for the students of OBC SC/ST and PwD. Student activity is also good as we work for fests and stuff.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is awesome. It's a campus of 296 acres. The buildings are acquinted with facilities that are required to all the students. Club activities are significantly seen in the campus. Students are cooperative with each other..

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not that good to describe. Sometimes we face water problems and the rooms are also not that good. The space isn't enough per person. Mess food is also not braggable. But we can say that it's edible.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

We got into the college through Joint Entrance Examination held anually by National Testing Agency. The top studens who are eligible are provided seats in the college. Official website of Nta has all the necessary information.

The College Experience at VVCE

Placement Experience:

At VVCE, The Training and Placements (TAP) is quite active. the highest package is 41 LPA and the placement percentage is 70-80% for the students who meet the eligibility and training requirement. Average package is around 4-6 LPA Top recruiters include companies such as Accenture, Bosch, SAP labs, L&T, IBM, HP and others. Students are eligible for campus placement when they reach their final year of engineering and fulfil the TAP's criteria. Internships begin in 6th-7th semester for students who get selected. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a top compaany where i can level up my career and gain insights on the industry.

Placement Experience:

Placements at our strong with students becoming eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester onwards top companies like TCS Wipro Bose and Mahindra and Mahindra visit the campus offering roles in both software and core engineering the highest package offered is around 10 lakh to 12 lakh with the average package of 400000 to 6 lakh per annum. Around 80% of eligible student secure placements after completing my degree I plan to either working a core engineering role at companies like Bosch or pursue for the studies such as masters degree in mechanical engineering or related field

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym .
