Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching and conducting of exams is good. In classes they will be conducting the group discussions also they will be clarifying the doubts again. Also there will be labs and in labs we need to show them the output and for that they provide the marks based on that . Exams will be conducted strictly.

The companies which came are Infosys, intel, zoho, barclays, google, Microsoft, philips, NatWest, JPMorgan. Regarding this we need to follow the procedure first they will be shortlisted our resume and then we can write our exam

Placement Experience

Regarding the placements the possibility is only fifty percent because companies are asking for more skills and many of the students are lack of skills. And with little bit of skills it is very difficult to get placed. My goal is to achieve machine learning, data analytics.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is above three lakhs and it depends on the specialization. Nowadays it is so difficult to acquire a job based on the competition. They are asking for the more skills and we neee to gain more certificates

Campus Life

In our campus they conduct more activities like milan, joosh, and there will always conducting any activities regularly. Regarding the clubs there are many clubs for the people regarding their interests. Like dancing club, aarush and many more

Hostel Facilities

Regarding the hostel it is good and maintenance is also good. Regarding the food it is not suited for the people who eat more spicy items. And in the hostel there will be the timings for incoming and outgoing. It is very strict

I applied for b tech programme in cse. You need to apply through website. After applying you will notified through mail. Srm entrance happens 3 times in a year. You can able to fix slot according to yor interest. As when I wrote that was an online proctored exam

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
