Likes

First of all i would like to share my college campus ,it was preety nice .
Hostels are also very neat and clean the behaviour of staff are really appreciable
Teacher are well educated and the way of teaching is nice

Dislikes

Classrooms are very conjusted due to the more strength
Every year they are increasing course fees
There is lot of crowd in campus ,in mid day there is too much rush on the streets

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course as my intrest on Programming. The curriculum is giving us exact real world application as it is very helpful for our future according to the present technology. Our Semister consider as 50 marks for internals and 50 marks for externals.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In my class students got internships in 3rd year of engineering (Btech -cse core),they offered internship for Sde role and the stipend is 90k per month.They will learn about how to adjust in corporate world .

Placement Experience

In my college 99% guaranteed placement but here every people are not going for placements ,some students are opting for it and rest going for higher studies.in every year more than 3000 companies visiting for campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the college fees will be increased by 50000 and hikes in the fee is regular. It would cost around 20 to 23 lakhs including food and other expenditures.SRM is providing good placements with average salary.

Campus Life

In our college there are well maintained clubs ,variety of activities available we learned too much by joining it .if I talk about my campus infrastructure it was awesome my campus area is approx 250 acres.

Admission

Yes I gave entrance exam and qualified the eligibility criteria of the Btech CSE Course.I found application form by Friends. Exam was 3 hours with 90 questions and there is no negative marking. The level of exam was quite good.

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I chose this because of good placements and they have average of 7.5 lakhs.Compare to vit vellor or any other collage srm has good placements and good way to explore.To get admission we need to pay 10000 rs to lock the seat and then aftee filling the forms we need to pay hostel and collage fees....Read More

The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
