Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE core as everyone says it has highly flexible to opt any type of field after the b tech. You can explore a lot things . instead of sticking to one field.faculty here are few are very nice and few are very annoying.they won't give marks properly.sometimes there won't be proper notes for chosen elective and also in some subjects there are like 300 pages in one unit it's difficult to read .it's easy to pass here becoz internals are for 50 There are 4 parts ct1,ct2,ct3ct4 Theory subject it goes like 10,15,15,10 Theory and Lab subject 5,7.5,7.5,5|5,7.5,7.5,5 Try to score 30 if just pass in sem exam those exams come from CTS and sem papers

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the course increases for newbies With 50,000. There are many scholarships I will tell the most imp Merit-there is no need to pay tuition fee Founder-there is no need to pay hostel, tuition and exam fees The criteria changes every year I got merit which is for 292 rank I am paying hostel fee But i got renewal for scholarship 2 year I don't know for 3rd as it not announced Basically it depends upon the cgpa and You need to maintain above 9

Campus Life

There are many clubs But if you want to join in any technical club you need to pass through an interview and exam too There are Instagram pages for all the clubs You are notified through Instagram post If there are any vacancies in the clubs Extracurricular activities opportunities are many here Classrooms for 2,3,4 ac are anot available yet in hot summer you will feel exhausted just sitting in classroom .books available in library there are limited stock in library

Admission

I took srm University entrance exam In that I got merit scholarship. no need to pay fee for one year.after that it depends upon the grade Now the scholarship criteria changed a lot when compared to I applied for srm entrance exam in 2021. You can search as srm University entrance exam in Google .there are 3 entrances exams per year. Now the tution fees for 1 year close to 4,50,000 for CSE core The other batches it differs with 50,000 Actually the tution fee for 1 year 3,50,00 when I joined its too much for a middle class family can afford . I think they must drop down the price of tuition fee

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida.
