Course Curriculum Overview

In vit the theres a lot of flexibility. We have an ffsc through which we can make our own time table choose our own teachers. This helps us a lot as we can make a good time table for ourselves and study accordingly

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 780 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities available in our campus mostly after 2nd year. College gives time in 3rd year for internships aswell . There are industrial internship, research type internships and corporate type internships and many more aswell available over here

Placement Experience

According to our college an avg student gets a package of 9 lpa going all the way to packages above 1 cr. If the student dosent get an on campus placement he can definitely try for off campus too as vits degree will surely get him/her a job

Fees and Financial Aid

In the viteee exam. For the counseling there are 5 categories. Category 1 has the lowest amount of fees and it keeps on increasing till category 5. Your marks in the viteee exam decides your category and your fees

Campus Life

I really dont like the over all campus life as there are way too many restrictions on every single thing. U cant go out of your hostels after 9 u cant even leave ur room after 11 u cant go to certain areas in campus and many other stupid rules which ruin the campus life. Cake is not allowed in hostel-_-

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is decent. U get decent food in mess the rooms are fine the people are fine there are staff for cleaning and everything is alright. Washrooms are fine sometimes they are dirty but most of the time they're fine

Hostel Fee: INR 200 per year

Admission

I had to give the viteee exam for the admission and the eligibility was 60% plus marks in 10+2 in board exams. I found out about vit through friends and family. The admission process was smooth and i dont think there is anything they can improve

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
