Remarks

I finally want to say that make your career here in this college. And train your professional and personal life too.

Entrance Preview

I always wanted to study something which suits me. I was interested in science but I heart was in writing to. So mixed group it is psychology and journalism. I aspire to be a journalist actually because this college gives quality education. I was so particular about my studies so I had to choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is really a very good course. You have many career opportunities with this course. You could never regret after joining this college. Because the placements are also so good. You just have to maintain discipline. every course has one thing in common. The language. Even if you're already in English you can still choose additional English as your language. That's an advantage.

Internships Opportunities

Apparently, my college does provide internship but I'm not so sure about it as this is my first year in the college. Because internship and all are for final years.

Placement Experience

4.5

The job opportunities are 100% as I've chosen journalism. There are many streams which actually recruit you as a journalist. Because there are many news channels and we can actually be happy with it. The interview skills training session will also be held.

College Events

4.5

Eventually, There'll be many events always going on in the college. Every specification has its own fest. Like psychology fest, computer science fest etc. And the very recent fest was the kalajyoti fest. It's an intercollegiate fest.( Literary and cultural fest )

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quiet good. It's not high Even a middle-class student can be able to afford. Because all of the courses are quite nice. The infrastructure and all everything is so nice So I just think the fees is reasonable.(my fee's for a year is 50k. As I am from Telangana. But for people from Karnataka it's 40k)

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are many many scholarship programs in the college. Everything offered by Karnataka government will be notified.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life here is so cool that you even forget everything. Every problem of yours and will mingle up with nature. In the beginning, you'll have a trouble with faculty if you're not well groomed. But eventually, you'll be fine. Sports are awesome.you can play whatever whenever you want.

Hostel Facilities

4

Basically, this college doesn't provide a college hostel kind of. But there are some hostels nearby the college which is affiliated with the college.so you can join in the college hostel But to be frank I tell you to join a PG or take a flat for rent. Its better and you can have your message outside.

Alumni/Alumna

I haven't noticed the alumni but as far as I know, whenever I go to the reception my eyes roll up and then I get to see the toppers list of our super seniors and they really did well.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite cool. Because they'll give us a small recreational gap and time to study also. But even if it will be hectic we still have to write them chilled out. Because all the other days except exam days are free types. So what I wanted to say is the exam structure is quite nice.

Admission

First of all you have to apply for your desired course through official website of college. Then you have to pay the application fee of 250 then you'll be given a number. And they'll mail you the interview date. On the given date you have to go and attend the interview. Once that is done and if you're selected. You can proceed with paying of fees. That is only in the form of DD.

Faculty

4.5

Jovial and very interactive faculty. You can speak your heart out with them. Every teacher will support you. They will guide you in a very good path towards studies and in a cultural way too. Faculty takes part in every cultural and literary activity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
