The very good place for learning life ,love,friendship. Negative side i think is that due to high freedom students got, there is a possibility that students get away from studies.

*Every year february , the college conducts national level techfest ,INVENTO. NATYA ,dance fest is conducted every year. SARANG MEMORIAL SOUTH INDIAN FLOODLIGHT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT is conducted every year in beloving memory of our friend Sarang. College also conducts arts day, sports day, farewell day, annual day, freshers day. *College also celebrates almost all festivals like onam,vishu,deepavali,christmas etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As a government college ,fee is very less. Students need to pay only 8000 rupees per year. While taking admission, students need to pay rs 5000 as PTA fees.No other fees are required. While leaving college, we will get back caution deposit of rs 1000. This college has a very feasible fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are available for students depending upon caste .Almost all students have egrantz scholarship provided by kerala government.We will get rs12000 every year from this scholarship.

Campus Life

Girls and boys are of about 45:55 propotion. Students eith permission acn conduct parties. Lab facilities are good. Workships are conducted in almost every month. High importance to sports and technology here. Evry sport and games are conducted here such as cricket , football,voleyball,badminton etc.

Exam Structure

Semester exams will be of 6 months gap. Lab exam of every semester will be after written exams. Between every semester exam, there will be 2 internal exams in a 2-month gap. Very friendly exam structure as this structure doesn't have any pressure on students.

Admission

I got admission to my college through KEAM entrance exam.MY friends told this is a good college and my first preference was this college. There will be 4 allotments. I got admission here in the 3rd allotment. Admission process are simple as there will be many of them to help me .

Faculty

Faculties have good qualification background. Many staffs have completed graduation in IITs NITs etc. HODs have doctorates. The principal is the director of KTU. PT teacher was the captain of women Kerala cricket team. Most of the faculties are supportive and helpful.

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
