Course Curriculum Overview

It's includes all the different type of courses in agriculture stream with different topics like agronomy , horticulture , soil science , plant pathology , computer science. Wide range of scope is there but teacher is not much knowledgeable they only copy from notes and then delivered lectures to the students. It's very poor for teacher

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For top three students in class achieve scholarship or stifund through government and full course fees included about 1 lakh and for mba student about 1.5 lakh for full course . This university is govt so very less fees are paid by students

Campus Life

Yes, participate in blood donation camp , Also training for one week in village under Nss Volunteer , horticulture training in different university , polio camp , awareness rally for cleanliness ... Also great opportunity for mountain climbing students in university

Admission

For b.sc. agriculture course , eligibility minimum you must 12th pass with PCB or PCM stream . You must take entrance exam to crack b.sc agriculture with good score above 70 out of 100 . All courses includes in b.sc. agriculture

Best college for MBA in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

Placement Experience:

Almost 650% of students land a PPO with the companies they intern at. For the others, the Placement Cell does an amazing job of lining up companies for campus recruitment. The highest package recorded has been 16 LPA with an average revolving around around 6 LPA. I think it's reliable placement scenario and we are given enough training to do our best in the interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
