KIIT deemed to be university is known for its world class infrastructure and good placements every year for all the courses. The course curriculum is designed after proper inputs and feedbacks from the industry professionals, and it is ensured that the currriculum is updated from time-to-time. More than half of the facults members in KIIT School of Management are from IIMs, XLRI, and other top institutions from the country.Four semesters exams are conducted in the span of two years.

Almost all eligible students get an internship offer from various reputed organisations from the country by the end of first year. We are required to do our internship for a period of 2 months minimum. Some organizations may extend it depending on the requirement. The roles vary from sales, business development, market research, etc. depending on the requirements of the organization. The general stipend ranges from 10k - 15k per month. For 1-2 organizations it is as high as 40k - 50k per month. Companies such as Dabur, Deloitte, Chryso, ICICI, Amul, Protiviti recruits for summer internship.

Placement have been an added advantage at KIIT School of Management. Both for summer internships and final placements, almost are eligible students get a decent offer, depending on their preparation. The highest package as of now for our batch stands as 14 lakhs per annum for final placements. Companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, Bharat Financial, Protiviti, Dabur, Haldiram, Loreal come on regular basis to recruit from KIIT School of Management. As of now a total of 215 offers have been made and the average package stands at 8 to 9 lakhs per annum.

I had to pay a total of INR 14,50,000 for my two years. This included tuition fee, AC hostel fee, mess fee, laptop fee, books and other administration charges such as development fee. The university does not charges any hidden fee, the students are required to pay INR 500 per semester for availing washing machine facility and an additional INR 10,000 per semester for having attached toilet. A fee waiver of 50% is provided to the top 5 students of the entrance test, candidates scoring more than 80% in CAT/XAT and 95% in MAT.

For me it has been an wonderful experience at KSOM. The infrastructure and ambience at KIIT is phenomenal. KSOM is one of the most greenest campuses in the university.We have a departmental library at our campus and a central library for the university students, We can avail books from the library on showing our ID cards for the complete duration of our program. KIIT has always believed in overall development of its students. We have cricket grounds, football groups, several gyms, swimming pools, basketball courts, etc. Our faculty members not only focus on academics but they also encourage and promote us to take part in various extra-curricular activities, held from time-to-time at university and school level.

We have to pay a total of 85000 per semester for hostel and mess facility. All the rooms are fully-furnished and are equipped with necesaary facilities. The menu is changed every 3-4 months. We are provided both veg and non-veg meals. A total of 4 meals is provided to us which includes, breakfast, lunch and dinner and evening snacks everyday. All those woh have been admitted in MBA program need to live in colllege hostel itself, they are not allowed to live in PG or any other boarding facility. The registration is done on the day of joining.

First of all, we have to apply for KIITEE Managment by paying an fee of INR 1250. After clearing the written test, we will be called for group discussions and personal interview, depending on the performance in the entrance test. The exams are generally conducted in the month of January and results are declared with one month of the test. The question paper comprises of the questions from moderate to difficult level, covering questions from aptitude, reasoning, etc.

After clearing the written tests, students are called for GD and PI depending on the performance in the entrance examination. The GD topics generally include the current trends, about economy, etc. Some of the topics at my time included Importance of Netiquettes in the digital economy, Union Budget 2022. For interview, please read a bit about your graduation, they may ask about your favourite subject and few questions from it, why KSOM, what are the other colleges you have applied for, how MBA is going to be helpful for you, etc. For preparations, I would suggest reading newspaper helpmed me a lot, some youtube videos, etc.
