The things I don't like about this College is, this college don't provide hostels for all the students.
This college don't have good equipments for sports

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in this college is good . In this college,the faculty has a great industrial experience and good teaching skills. The course curriculum is better than many other colleges . In this college,faculty helps us to improve our personal skills and gives practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams in this college is between medium and hard.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 10600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides good internship opportunities for students. The industries like ONGC,HPCL,IOCL,some steel plants offers internships for chemical engineering students. We have to complete projects given by the industries and clarify the tasks.

Placement Experience

The placements of our college are good ,above 80% students will get placement. The average package offered during placements in 2022 is ?10LPA .The highest package offered during placements stood at ?62LPA . A total of 693 offers were received during placements in year 2022.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here, there is no tuition fee for the students who has annual income less than 1lakh. For other students the tuition fee is around 70,000 . The total cost of my education in this college is around 60000(excluding hostel fee,other fees)because I am a ST category student. Many scholarships are there for students, some of them are NSP(provides 1lakh ? for ST&SC students), FFE(40k?)

Campus Life

I have a great experience with campus life. The college conducts many annual festivals and technical festivals (eclectika , Shruti , raaga , samar,aavartan etc). I enjoyed a lot in these festivals and learnt some skills . We have a central library in college, it provides many good books and journals for students. Within the classrooms there are many facilities and technological provisions like projector and smart board etc . Students in this college runs many different clubs and social groups to build skills .

Admission

All 12th pass students who took the courses of maths , physics and chemistry are eligible to write the entrance test for NITs. You can find the application form for entrance test (JEE MAIN) in NTA website. The minimum cut-off percentile for chemical Engineering in NIT is above 80 percentile for ST category students and above 90 for OBC students

from 4th semesters companies started to hire students as their interns. and most of the 7th semester students get offer letters . The average placement of my department is 3 lakh per year. 25 percentage of students are getting placed in the collage placement

NIT RAIPUR, AN HIDDEN GEM

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

NIT Raipur (The Fastest Developing NIT)

Some major points where NIT Raipur stands out over the other colleges. It's Placements, being an NIT it's decent enough for anyone choosing a college in a peaceful and affordable city like Raipur. It's Alumni connections, that make the college foundation really strong. The Student Culture is really good for personal growth, for someone who is still figuring out his/her career NIT RR could be a really good college for them. The Hackathons and CP Culture are awesome Almost in every competition on Unstop, HackerEarth, Case Study competition, Codechef, and Codeforces there is at least 1 winner or a finalist from NIT Raipur.
