Course Curriculum Overview

3

In this college the curriculum is okay like you got 40% (maximum) marks in internal exams in which it is very easy to get 25+ and you need 40% total marks (internal + external) to pass you exam and is not very difficult to score 8+ CGPA if you study 1 week before you exams There are 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exams

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in mait are also at average level with an average package of 7 to 8 lpa and 15 to 16 lpa in CSE branch and that gives an unbelievable return of investment Famous mncs like Google Microsoft Adobe jp morgan etc. Students also interested in their family business or their own startups Their is a unique society for students who want to start their own business named startup sphere which helps and encourages those students

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly you have to submit 60 thousand (only one time) to Guru Gobind singh indraprastha University (GSIPU) as registration fee and then you have to pay your college fee that varies year to year in my case in first year the fees is around 1 lakh 13 thousand

Campus Life

2.5

Campus Life is normal (not too good not too bad) Campus of mait is around 10 acres and if we include maims (management studies college) that is in the same campus then it is of 20 to 30 acres There is an annual fest named pnm Library is not too big but contains a variety of books Students also run their society and clubs as an extra curricular activity

Admission

You have to report at the college administration block after your counseling round short listed and verify and submit you necessary documents and they will give you your identity card and enrollment number which can be used for joining college functions and entry for classes and labs If we talk about the cut off then it will be mentioned on Google and it varies from branch to branch and depends upon if you are inside delhi candidate or outside delhi candidate I appeared in Jee mains and got 70k (approx.) rank and got IT branch in this college You can find application form on their official site mait.ac.in Exams are easy to moderate and it is easier to score 8+ CGPA and there are 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exams . Thank you

Delhi Technological University - [DTU], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Oct 8, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
