Campus ( we have a big campus) infrastructure of courses pretty simple and lots of choices are given to students for studying particular subject
Fest north indi biggest fest engi fest is center of attraction of every College in delhi
Placement team and faculty they badly want us to get placed . Super coporative

I don't like that they are increasing seats for admission

I chose this course due to AI effect everything need computer, the advancement in every era needs Computer Engineer this leads my job opportunity. They teaches us every basic things we need to learn to it the real worl problem, More real world based questions instead of numerical and thesis can improved We cod acadmic calendar in beginning of every year and exams schedule accordingly, so there is no surprise exams, we have Dates befor it so we can prepare accordingly

We got adobe and they offered as a designer stipend of 30 lac Expedia gave 4.2 lac for intern Moodys intern offer 36000 Infosys ctc 9.5 lac Morgan Stanley 87000 per month All of them offer live projects all of them are tech company they looks for c++/ c#/ c java and data structure, oops and unix

Placement Experience

Due to recession this year we got lower offer but still non tech and tech company are going for dtu students only 4th year students are eligible for placement, but ifrom 3rd year we can have internship, Microsoft sprincler google adobe many more highest is 1.3 crore qnd average is 10lac every 9 students are getting placement I personally go for masters

Engi fest, Yuvaan, e Sumit they held in between between end of jan to mid feb We have such a big Library which have every journal books of syllabus , novels , in pretty languages, classroom are sound proofs, we got cusion in chairs pretty capacity of 150 students per class rooms There are several clubs soceity infact we have students union too

Admission

I have admitted through jee Cut off was 90 for general and 60 for st 70 80 for sc and obc Applied through JAC got my preferenced course in first round it was my first choice . I freezed it , there was no problem in admission everything was smooth

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
