Likes

I liked the vibe of the campus, its a very huge campus and all kinds of extra circulars are available you can have very joyful stay
I liked the credit system here you can complete your course way earlier as well as you can choose which subjects you want to study

Dislikes

I didnt like the way they organize huge crowds
The climate of the city is too bad its very humid and very much hot and the water here is too hard .my hairfall started after joining here
Not the college but the city in which the college is located is too boring and not much things to do outside canpus

I am geet Avaneesh pursuing my bachelor's in technology at vit vellore I am a second year student.Has a cgpa of 9.56.I am expecting a minimum package of 50lpa . Vit is very good but very strict.Give hard punishment

Internships Opportunities

They provide good opportunities for internship at few of the famous tech companies and its mandatory for every one to do an internship which will also earn you 9 credits they give opportunities based on your cgpa and also provide a 6 months break especially to complete your internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Vit shouldn't be your first priority if you are concerned about affordablility they divide students into five categories based on their ranks in entrance test and decide their fees according to their category the first category itself costs around 2 lakhs and it gradually increases till category 5 where the fee limit will be 4.92 lakh but all the category 1 students have the eligibility of getting scholarship if they maintain their cgpa(which is allocated by the college)

Campus Life

The campus life is very good . Humongous campus with a vibrant atmosphere. Friendly vibe provided by the students. Extra circulars of all choices are available. Joining a club allows you to access your passion in a money earning way.Rivera a c cultural fest of 4 days is one of the biggest ones in india and they also provide a technical fest called gravitas where you can learn alot from guest lectures and all

Hostel Facilities

Decent hostels with good ambience hygiene is maintained with regular cleaning.The blocks which are constructed recently are good only the problem is with old blocks .For the first year hostels are blocked on afirst Come first served basis.from the second year hosted are given based on ranking list made out of your cgpa . You can choose your own roommates.strict action on all kinds of disciplinary contempts

I am pursuing my bachelor's in technology at vit vellore I am a second year student.Has a cgpa of 9.56.I am expecting a minimum of 50lpa.vit Is very good college but very strict.for the smallest of mistakes

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

I got good percentile in JEE so i was getting admission in few mid ranked and top NITs, but there was no CSE branch available in any top NIT and I specifically wanted CSE branch soo I applied for other entrances exams for SRM,Amrita,VIT and Manipal but out of all I preffered VIT because it has a good package and better NIRF ranking than even many NITs, also after bachelors I want to do masters from abroad and VIT has best reputation for CSE abroad when it comes to CSE.VIT accepts admission through VITEEE exam which asks questions from class 12th PCM, English and General aptitude...Read More
