Campus is very good, Cleaniness is taken as major thing
Teaching staff is good as they are very highly educated
Parking space is good in College as i go to college by car

Dislikes

Classrom desks are not good and there is no good
Canteen is not good in college. Food is not good and sitting arrangement also
Transport of college is also not good, there is only one bus in college which is also not regular

Course Curriculum Overview

GCET Jammu was having good aspects in curriculum like Nss activities College organises different seminars, webinars for students College is good in curriculum, there is no need for improvement Exams are conducted after every 5-6 months and difficulty level is medium.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Placement Experience

After yth semester Every company visits our college as its a Government college Higest package is of 13 lakhs and average package is around 3 lakhs pa Percentages vary between 70-90 percent I want to do a good business

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no such hike in college tution fees as Im in Government College. It will be around 2 lakhs approximately. Right now I'm not aware of this. I participated in National Conference which was held in my college.

Campus Life

College organizes Fiwali fest, annual fest, National Conference and many other festivals Every book which is needed for the course is available in the library Classrooms include smart boards, LCD displays etc College organises annual sports events and also participates in inter college and inter university games Yes there are many social clubs in college.

Admission

Eligibility of the course was good. You can find everything on Jkboppe official website Reservation is for SC/ST students and Pwd categories. Exams are after every 5-6 months Everything thing is simple in admission process

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

Placements are decent in our college. Almost 80% of students from cse it ever gets placed and is also good in core branches. The highest package of Cse I think is 50 lakh and the average is around 8-9.
