Course Curriculum Overview

3

I always wanted to be an Engineer as my parents are my biggest inspiration. Both of them are Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer. I opted for B. Tech C. S. E . The course is really interesting but the maximum teachers of different courses don't have any knowledge about that particular course.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

My first year intership was from my college. They didn't provide us any stipend. I made a weather forecasting website with the help of api. From second year they are thinking of making us send to other companies in Tripura.

Placement Experience

1.5

Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th year. Recently, Infotech company came for offering jobs during placemebts. The highest package offered till now is 5 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is less than 50. My plans after B. Tech is that i will be opting for M. Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees for per semester is 50,000 . Bus fees for per semester is 10,000. There are many scholarships for SCs, STs and OBCs and single girl child or those who have achieved more than 9 CGPA twice a year. Me being general and an average student didn't get any privilege of scholarship. We do internships but they don't even give us stipends.

Campus Life

2.5

There are two annual festivities. One is ICARIA and another is NOVATOS which is a fresher party. Other than that college arrange picnic and sports day. There are limited number of books in library. The books which the teachers suggest are the only available books.. There are always some technical issues with the computers they provide. Proper management is not there.

Admission

For those who are wanting to do engineering or B. Tech they can give JEE. MAINS. The form of the exam can be filled from cyber cafes . The exams happened twice a year during my time and it was quite difficult for me as i wasn't prepared at all. For those who are wanting to give JEE. MAINS they should be very good in mathematics and physics and also good at memorising all the chemical reactions.

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.
