I liked the campus , it's very greenery here.
The facilities teaches very well and help us whenever we need.
We get different types of scholarships which help us to manage with the collage fees and other things.

Dislikes

We don't have air conditioner in our classrooms.
Female washroom's condition is not good .
There are no CCTV in the campus except the office rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be an engineer from my childhood, and for that I worked hard to get here. Currently am in electronics and communication department and it helps me to know more electronics things, which in must in today's world. I like the teaching style and methods of my faculties and I am very grateful to them. The exams they take are of moderate level, if a student is focused and regular in attending his class then he can easily score a good mark.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit our collage like Oracle, TCS, TATA elxsi and many more. Oracle provide students roll in field of coding whereas TCS provide students roll in core branch like branch related to electronics and communication, electrical, electronics and instrumentation. If we do projects, then the chance of getting selected in campus becomes high.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit every year like TCS , Ashok Leyland, TATA elxsi, Oracle and many more. They take many students like in last year also Oracle took 30 students those who have good coding skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is around 70000 per semester excluding hostel. Hostel and mess fees are need to be paid separately. There are many kinds of scholarships available like 'Ishanuday' which gives around 80000 per year to the students who scored good marks in their 12th examination. There are others scholarships like post matrix scholarship, umbrella scholarship and many more .

Campus Life

Here various types of clubs are there starting from singing , dancing, art , literacy and many more and students can join them depending on their interest. We have a large library where all types of books are there which are required for students. Each year we have technical festivals where we can learn as well as enjoy also.

Admission

For getting admission in National Institute of Technology the students first need to clear an entrance exam named Jee Mains. And after getting a percentile around 80 , that student is eligible for getting admission . The application form for Jee Mains is available in the nita jee website. The difficulty level is moderate for chemistry and quite high in case of physics and mathematics. Jee Mains exams are taken through online mood and there are almost 90 questions in total. There are reservations available for SC, ST people.

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
